Flextender is a hands free interface (sort of) for a wearable computer. Attached to the back of the glove are bend sensors running along the fingers and the wrist.

The assortment of materials used in this creation include an old wet suit (neoprene), a leather glove, scrap plastic, and velcro. The sensors used are the ones originally developed for the Nintendo Power Glove.¨

The plastic surfaces are mounted up off the leather and neoprene so the user's arm can move comfortably under an LCD screen or any other type of display that might be used.

Flextender has the ability to be used in conjunction with gripbitz or a variation of the cyberpalms for even more channels of input.
